The Future Leadership Academy (FLA) is a pioneering social venture that will be the leading knowledge, skills and experience development academy to accelerate future leadership potential in children and youth based in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia (MEASA). The Academy will work as a leadership learning open source platform, school of thinking, youth social innovation incubator, positive change agent, community builder, business school and think tank – all rolled into one and a global first by all means.

The academy’s unique multi-tiered leadership potential accelerator is built around three core concepts – Lead, Think and Impact – three areas that research has uniquely shown to be extremely critical in preparing well-rounded future leaders.

Lead is developing the many facets of effective, creative, adaptive and flexible leadership to help kids flourish throughout their young and future lives, and nuture their passion and capacity to create positive change in future.

Think develops the holistic intelligence (HQ) that helps expand intelligence beyond just the intellectual (IQ), emotional (EQ) or social (SQ).

Impact develops their impact quotient so as to bolster their leadership capacity through engagement in community projects and social entrepreneurial ventures.

FLA would work with expert global partners to customize and/or create programs, content and initiatives on the one hand, and with Educators, Government Entities, Corporations and Skilled Professionals on the other, to launch and/or deliver varied initiatives within communities.

With an overall mandate to work across the MEASA region, FLA would kick start the initiatives with the United Arab Emirates (UAE), moving to five countries by 2014, and expected to grow exponentially across the rest of the MEASA region in due course of time.
